Tanssille ry:n uusi Esitysklubi kutsuu tanssin, kohtaamisten ja yhdessäolon äärelle Tanssin Talon Pannuhalliin torstaina 10.12.2026 klo 18-23!

Illan aikana nähdään viisi lyhyttä, 10–20 minuutin kestoista tanssiesitystä Uudellamaalla työskenteleviltä tanssin ammattilaisilta. Luvassa on monipuolisia pienoisteoksia, taiteellisia kokeiluja ja kohtaamisia rennossa klubitunnelmassa! Illan aikana esiintyy sooloillaan Petri Enqvist, Maya Oliva, Minttu Myräkkä ja Jenna Välikangas, sekä Casualbutpro-ryhmä seitsemän tanssijan voimin.

Esitysten lomassa nautitaan DJ Joseysradios musiikista, seurustelusta ja baarin antimista. Illan päätteeksi Pannuhallin tanssilattia avautuu kaikille! Voit saapua mukaan pitkin iltaa. Lämpimästi tervetuloa Esitysklubille!

Minttu Myräkkä: Väre

Väre on fyysinen ja liikkeellinen, tarkka ja samanaikaisesti rosoinen liikkeellinen matka yhden tanssijan kehossa. Teoksessa pureudutaan hetkellisyyden, paljauden ja haurauden tematiikkaan. Se on ruumiillinen kertomus ajasta ja hetkistä iholla ja syvällä kehossa. Teoksen lähtökohtana on halu tutkia ja syventyä siihen tietotaitoon, kokemuksiin, unelmiin ja kysymyksiin, joita tanssitaiteilijana työskentely sekä eletty elämä ovat minulle vuosien varrella kerryttäneet.

Jenna Välikangas: Tanssivat peilit

Teoksen keskiössä on ihan tavallinen tyttö joka kaikessa haavoittovuudessaan päättää uskaltaa avata sydämensä rakkaudelle. Baletin ja nykytanssin yhdistelmä luo tarinan kuinka omista peloista voi päästä yli vaikka pelko on läsnä.

Casualbutpro Incubator: Mitä jos se ei palvele meitä

"Mitä jos se ei palvele meitä" tarkastelee myöhäiskapitalistisessa yhteiskunnassa rehottavaa mielen pahoinvointia ja sen aiheuttamia lieveilmiöitä. Miten ihmismieli rikkoontuu taloudellisen paineen ja suoritusyhteiskunnan vaatimusten alla ja kuinka paljon ulospäin hallittu ja tasapainoinen ihminen voi kantaa sisällään kaaosta, pelkoa, ahdistusta ja epävarmuutta tulevasta? Tässä teoksessa yhdistyvät klassinen musiikki, baletti ja räppi. Baletin sulavuus ja esteettisyys luovat kontrastin räpin rosoisuudelle ja rehelliselle itseilmaisulle. Koreografia poikkelehtii hallitun kauneuden ja liikekielellisen oireilun välillä - kenties se kertoo asioita, jotka ovat liian kipeitä sanoa ääneen.

Petri Enqvist: Mies, tuoli ja mikrofoni (lyhennelmä teoksesta Long Way Home)

Long Way Home on nykyteos, jossa yhdistyvät spoken word, fyysinen teatteri, nykytanssi ja sirkus. Aikuisyleisölle suunnatun teoksen teemoina ovat rakkaus, menetys ja toivo, ja se pyrkii palauttamaan uskoa yhtenäisyyteen hauraina aikoina.

Teos kysyy, mitä tapahtuu, kun yksityiset pelkomme käännetään jaetuksi fyysiseksi kieleksi. Se tutkii elämää muovaavia unelmia, tavoitteiden tuomaa juurettomuutta ja identiteetin pirstoutumista globaalissa maailmassa. Miten löydämme syvyyttä nykyhetkeen, kun muistomme ja kokemuksemme ovat hajallaan ympäri maailmaa?

Äärimmäinen hitaus ja ajalliset kanavat luhistuvat kurkkuun. Monitunteiset tilat kumpuavat palleasta vulkaanisena voimana.

Joseysradios on DJ, taiteilija ja kuraattori sekä What's on Joseysradios?- ja Livingroom Session -alustojen perustaja. Hänen juurensa ovat Ugandassa ja Kongossa, ja hänen musiikillisen ilmaisunsa ytimessä on eteläafrikkalainen amapiano, jota rikastavat vaikutteet eri puolilta Afrikkaa ja sen ulkopuolelta. Tanssille Performance Club

Welcome to Tanssille ry's Performance Club at Pannu Hall, Dance House Helsinki – a new club night celebrating dance, artistic encounters, and togetherness! Join us on Thursday, December 10, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM for an evening filled with dance!

Throughout the evening, you'll get to experience five short dance performances (10–20 minutes each) by dance professionals working in the Uusimaa region. From solos to group performance, the programme brings together a diverse mix of artistic expressions, creative experiments, and fresh perspectives on dance – all in a relaxed and welcoming club atmosphere.

The evening features solo performances by dance artists Petri Enqvist, Maya Oliva, Minttu Myräkkä, and Jenna Välikangas, as well as a group performance by the seven-member group Casualbutpro.

There will be breaks between the performances, offering plenty of time to catch up with friends and connect with new ones, enjoy a drink and some bar snacks. After the performances, DJ Joseysradios takes over, the dance floor opens to everyone, and the evening continues with music and dancing! A warm welcome to Tanssille Performance Club!

Minttu Myräkkä: Väre

Väre is a physical and movement-based journey through the body of a single dancer, at once precise and raw. The work delves into themes of transience, vulnerability, and exposure. It is an embodied narrative of time and moments felt on the skin and deep within the body. The piece originates from a desire to explore and deepen the knowledge, skills, experiences, dreams, and questions that years of working as a dance artist and living life have accumulated within me.

Jenna Välikangas: Tanssivat peilit (Dancing mirrors)

At the heart of the work is an ordinary girl who, in all her vulnerability, chooses to open her heart to love. The fusion of ballet and contemporary dance tells a story of overcoming one's fears, even when fear itself remains present.

Casualputbro Incubator: Mitä jos se ei palvele meitä (What If It Doesn't Serve Us)

What If It Doesn't Serve Us examines the mental distress that flourishes in late-capitalist society and the phenomena that arise from it. How does the human mind fracture under economic pressure and the demands of a performance-driven culture? And how much chaos, fear, anxiety, and uncertainty about the future can a person who appears composed and balanced on the outside carry within? This work brings together classical music, ballet, and rap. The fluidity and aesthetic elegance of ballet create a contrast with the rawness and honest self-expression of rap. The choreography moves between controlled beauty and movement as symptom, perhaps revealing things that are too painful to put into words.

Petri Enqvist: Mies, tuoli ja mikrofoni (Man, Chair and Microphone / excerpt from Long Way Home)

Long Way Home is a contemporary performance that combines spoken word, physical theatre, contemporary dance, and circus. Aimed at adult audiences, the work explores themes of love, loss, and hope, seeking to restore faith in togetherness during fragile times.

The piece asks what happens when our private fears are translated into a shared physical language. It explores the dreams that shape our lives, the rootlessness that can come with pursuing our ambitions, and the fragmentation of identity in a globalized world. How do we find depth in the present moment when our memories and experiences are scattered across the globe?

Maya Oliva: aaAaaaAA

Slow motion and temporal channels collapse into the throat. Polyemotional states emerge from the diaphragm as a volcanic force.

Joseysradios is a DJ, artist, and curator, and the founder of What's on Joseysradios? and Livingroom Session. With roots in Uganda and Congo, her sound centers around South African amapiano while drawing inspiration from across the African continent and beyond. Driven by rhythm, heat, and movement, her sets build through deep grooves, storytelling, and unexpected turns — creating an experience made to be felt, shared, and sweated out on the dancefloor.
