Residenssin järjestetään Liisa Pentti +Co:n harjoitusstudiolla Hernesaaressa, Helsingissä. Työskentelyaika studiossa jakaantuu kahdelle ryhmälle ja/tai taiteilijalle.

Residenssin tarkoituksena on tukea tanssin ammattilaiskenttää. Se tarjoaa maksuttoman harjoitustilan vähintään kahdelle tanssitaiteilijalle tai tanssin ammattilaisryhmälle marras-joulukuussa 2026. Residenssin kokonaiskesto on 5 päivää maanantaista perjantaihin aikaväleillä 30.11-4.12.2026 (vko 49) tai 14.-18.12.2026 (vko 51). Työskentely tapahtuu klo 10.00-15.00.

Residenssissä työskentelystä maksetaan palkkaa 225€ + lomakorvaus 12 % / hlö, enintään neljälle hlölle per työryhmä. Residenssi on suunnattu tanssitaiteilijoille. Työryhmässä voi olla myös muun alan taiteilijoita tai enemmän kuin neljä henkilöä, mutta palkka maksetaan vain max. neljälle tanssitaiteilijalle. Viimeisen vuoden aikana Tanssille ry:n palkallisessa residenssissä olleet eivät voi hakea residenssiin.

Hakijan tulee olla Tanssille ry:n jäsen ja työryhmissä vähintään kahden henkilön on oltava jäseniä. Valintakriteereinä on ammattimaisuus, tilan tarve ja työskentelyidea. Residenssivalinnat tehdään arpomalla, kriteerien täyttävien hakemusten kesken. Residenssin lopuksi taiteilijoita pyydetään kirjoittamaan lyhyt raportti työskentelystä.

Työskentelyidea voi olla esimerkiksi hahmotteilla olevan idean kehittelyä, valmiimman teoksen harjoittelua, oman taiteellisen ajattelun kehittelyä tms. Eri vaiheissa olevilla ideoilla kannustetaan hakemaan mukaan.

Residenssiin haetaan avoimella hakemuksella. Yhteyshenkilön tulee olla Tanssille ry:n jäsen. Kerro hakemuksessasi vapaamuotoisesti työskentelyideastasi sekä mahdollisesta työryhmästä. Kerro hakemuksessasi myös kumpaan työskentelyviikkoon (vko 49 vai 51) haet.

Tanssille ry is offering a residency for dance professionals in December 2026 in the rehearsal studio of Liisa Pentti +Co in Hernesaari, Helsinki. The available studio time will be shared between two groups or individual artists.

The purpose of the residency is to support the professional dance field. It will provide free rehearsal space for at least two dance artists or professional dance groups in December 2026.

The residency includes a fee of €225 plus a 12 % holiday allowance per person, for a maximum of four people per working group. The residency is intended for dance artists. The working group may include artists from other fields, but only up to four dance artists will be paid. Those who have taken part in Tanssille ry's paid residencies in the past year are not eligible to apply.

Individual applicants must be members of Tanssille ry and at least two persons in a working group must be members. The selection criteria are professionalism, need for space and a working idea. Residency selections will be made by lottery, among the applications that meet the criteria. At the end of the residency, artists will be asked to write a short report about their work at the residency.

The working idea can be, for example, to further develop an idea in the making, rehearsing a more finished work, developing one's own artistic thinking, etc. We encourage applications with ideas at varying stages.

You can apply for the residency with a free-form application. In your application, please freely describe your working idea and possible working group. Please also indicate the week (week 49 or 51) for which you are applying. The contact person must be a member of the association.
