Avoin haku Tanssille ry:n residenssiin! Haku on auki asti!

Tanssille ry tarjoaa residenssin tanssitaiteen ammattilaisille arkipäivisin 3.-14.11.2025. Paikkana on Helsingin Tanssiopiston harjoitusstudio Leipätehtaalla Helsingissä.

Kaipaatko kiireetöntä aikaa ja tilaa taiteelliselle työskentelylle - testailla ja tutkia vielä alkuvaiheessa olevia ideoita? Tai kenties kaipaat tilaa ja aikaa tekeillä olevalle teosprosessille työryhmäsi kanssa tai itsekseen? Hae Tanssille ry: n tarjoaamaan residenssiin! Myös tanssipedagogit voivat hakea tilaresidenssiin.

Residenssin kokonaiskesto on 10 päivää maanantaista perjantaihin (ei viikonloppuna) aikavälillä 3.-14.11.2025. Työskentelyaika studiossa on klo 12.00-16.00, paitsi keskiviikot klo 11.45-15.45. Residenssissä työskentelystä maksetaan palkkaa 450€ / hlö (max 5 hlöä). Residenssi on suunnattu tanssitaiteilijoille, työryhmässä voi olla muun alan taiteilijoita, mutta palkka maksetaan vain tanssitaiteilijoille. Residenssin tarkoituksena on tukea aliresurssoitua tanssin ammattilaiskenttää sekä jakaa praktiikoita ammattilaisten kesken.

Residenssin lopuksi järjestetään avoin demotilaisuus pe 14.11., jossa residenssitaiteilija/ryhmä jakaa työskentelyään yhdistyksen jäsenistölle, sekä muulle ammattikentälle. Demotilaisuus voi olla monenlainen, se voi olla keskustelutilaisuus, harjoitusten jakamista tai näyttämistä, demoesitys tms.Tilaisuuden fasilitoi Tanssille ry:n hallituksen jäsen. Residenssin lopuksi taiteilijoita pyydetään kirjoittamaan lyhyt raportti työskentelystä.

Hakijan tulee olla Tanssille ry:n jäsen tai työryhmissä on oltava yli puolet (vähintään 60%) jäseniä. Valintakriteereinä on ammattimaisuus, tilan tarve ja työskentelyidea. Residenssivalinnat tehdään arpomalla, kriteerien täyttävien hakemusten kesken.

Työskentelyidea voi olla esimerkiksi hahmotteilla olevan idean kehittelyä, valmiimman teoksen harjoittelua, oman taiteellisen ajattelun kehittelyä tms. Eri vaiheissa olevilla ideoilla kannustetaan hakemaan mukaan.

Tilaresidenssiin haetaan avoimella hakemuksella. Yhteyshenkilön tulee olla Tanssille ry:n jäsen. Kerro hakemuksessasi vapaamuotoisesti työskentelyideastasi sekä mahdollisesta työryhmästä. Open call for Tanssille ry's residency!

Tanssille ry is offering a residency for dance professionals on Mon-Fri from November 3 to 14, 2025. Residency will take place at a rehearsal studio of Helsingin Tanssiopisto, which is located at Leipätehdas.

Are you looking for some unhurried time and space for artistic work – to test and explore ideas that are still in their early stages? Or perhaps you need space and time for a work already in process? Apply for the residency offered by Tanssille ry! Dance teachers are also welcome to apply for the residency.

The total duration of the residency is 10 days from Monday to Friday (excluding weekend) between November 3 and 14, 2025. Working hours in the studio are from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., except on Wednesdays from 11:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The residency pays a salary of €450 per person (max 5 persons). The residency is intended for dance artists. The working group may include artists from other fields, but only dance artists will be paid. The purpose of the residency is to support the under-resourced professional dance field and to share practices among professionals.

At the end of the residency, an open demo event will be held on Friday, November 14, where the residency artist/group will share their work with the association's members and other professionals in the field. The demo event can take many forms, such as a discussion, sharing or showing exercises, a demo performance, etc. The event will be facilitated by a member of the board of Tanssille ry. At the end of the residency, artists are asked to write a short report on their work in the residency.

Applicants must be members of Tanssille ry, or more than half (at least 60%) of the working group must be members. The selection criteria are professionalism, need for space, and working idea. Residency selections are made by lottery from among applications that meet the criteria.

The working idea can be, for example, the development of a concept, rehearsals for a finished work, the development of one's own artistic thinking, etc. Ideas at different stages of development are encouraged to apply.

Applications for the residency are open. The contact person must be a member of Tanssille ry. In your application, describe your working idea and possible working group in a free form.
